(Leaving credit on as only the bride and groom can have the original) A while ago my cousin asked me to do the photography alongside their professional wedding photographer, I did the shoot for free because he’s my cousin and I had no experience in this field of work. I got the typical wedding shots but I got some that you might not always see like photos of the people attending the wedding. The photographer said he was okay with me doing my own thing as-long as I didn’t get in the way of any of his shots, which I didn’t because I made sure to keep an eye on where he was shooting and if I was anywhere near there. I swapped between my AF-S 50mm f1.8 & my 18-55mm VR lenses throughout the shoot adjusting my settings appropriately.
It was a bit difficult to take photos of the bride and groom with their families and friends after the service as everyone got their phones out and decided to take photos. This made it difficult to make sure everyone in the photos was looking at the camera as they were all looking at other peoples phones. I feel like I got some good shots regardless.
